SINIGANGS
I TRIED FISHING! (2D Animated Short)
This is my final film I made during my time in Vancouver Film School's classical animation program.
The film was made using Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and traditional paper and pencil.
SHOT 20 BREAKDOWN

This was one of my favorite shots to create. I animated it first and had roughly drawn icons as placeholders. Later in compositing I put in the background, all assets drawn on paper, as well as the effects. The background was created in Adobe After Effects to try and achieve the Windows Media Player look to complete the DDR feel. The score counter for GIRLY was also done in Adobe After Effects. The glow on the arrows to make them disappear was done as compositing in Toon Boom Harmony.
Below are some assets I drew traditionally on paper and later imported into Photoshop and then Toon Boom Harmony.

I ate a lot of Ritz Crackers during my time at VFS. So the waves are made of the cardboard from the boxes of the Ritz Crackers. I cut the cardboard in the shape of the waves and then scanned them into the computer as greyscale, then edited them in Photoshop to make the waves endless, and then again in Toon Boom Harmony to color correct.

Extra traditional artwork for the film can be found below.
